My Approach

I understand that as people we are more than a diagnosis, and more than the sum of our thoughts! If we work together, it’s a partnership. I bring my knowledge and expertise to the table and you bring your experience that is uniquely yours. I’m looking forward to hearing your story and going on this journey towards wellness together!

 

I work primarily with people experiencing OCD, Anxiety, BFRBs, and Trauma, but also feel comfortable working with people around life transitions, relationship challenges, and general life stressors. I have experience with providing therapy to children and feel comfortable working with families. I use evidence-based practices and we will create measurable goals so that you are working towards the change you want to see!

 I love blending the modern approach of video and phone sessions with different theory models, like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused work. Your plan will be unique and we will create a treatment plan together. We may use one of these, or a mix of these modalities! You’ll receive personalized care with the click of a button!

I use Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD, considered the gold standard from the research. With ERP we create exposures that help us walk toward anxiety in a gradual way. I will be there with you and we will always go at your pace. I will never ask you to do something that is not in line with your goals. We are a team and will come up with exposures together!
